Now, I was around sixth in line. Him and his buddies, who strolled in around 11:00 PM (I began waiting at 9:30) met with friends in front of me. At the end, I was around fourteenth in line due to you and your ***** buddies. If you're reading this, then I have just one thing to say: Tell your friends that memes are ONLY funny on the internet, and the internet alone.

- Ellipsys, on 03/09/2008, -0/+24I have an affinity for pretty art books and full color maps, especially for Japanese RPGs. Also, any game in which you need a degree in differential calculus to play (Disgaea - Its like math, with evil penguins!) it helps to have charts for advancement and such.

- Ellipsys, on 03/09/2008, -1/+21My gameplay experience is ruined when halfway through the game I realize that I lost the chance for the secret ending because I didn't trade widget A to wandering merchant B in the first town, after the second cinematic but before the third. I don't want a walkthrough and I don't want the plot spoiled for me (which is really why I play jRPGs), but I do like to have some "hints" so that I don't miss any side quests and the like.

- Rikushix, on 03/09/2008, -2/+21Foxtrot is great; I used to devour the treasuries and books but I'm less inclined to now... it's really funny and the art is appealing but Amend doesn't quite have the originality needed to sustain the comic over a period of many years. Don't get me wrong, it's fantastic, but I'm not sure if it's the best comic since Calvin and Hobbes. It's definitely high up there though...has a spark to it that not many other comics have. It's kinda hard to compare when 90% of the comics out there are just plain drivel. There are definitely a few comics out there that are diamonds in the rough...Get Fuzzy and Zits are really good..
Speaking of Calvin and Hobbes, if you haven't started reading Cul de Sac, you should. It's only a few months old (syndication wise), but Bill Waterson (the writer of Calvin and Hobbes, as you should know) has already endorsed it as one of his new favorite comics. - Dysarthria, on 03/09/2008, -1/+19Quick points -
1) Calvin and Hobbes is the best comic ever, that is the majority sentiment. Whats amazing is that it was drawn for only 10 years, and Watterson quit drawing it at the relatively young age of 37.
2) FoxTrot is good, but it has been showing its age for the last decade. Everyone has a haircut straight from the 1980's, and it just has the look and feel of a comic from that era.
