- dafragsta, on 11/15/2007, -2/+23A friend of mine recently got a Mario cake in addition to a traditional cake for his wedding. It makes me wonder about all the common interests in the past that never made it onto a wedding cake, yet Mario is fast becoming a geek wedding trend. Maybe there's a certain kind of pride in identifying yourself as being from that generation. I definitely think the 80s were the best time to have been a kid. We had games that squeezed the most enjoyment out of the simplest concepts, in addition to much more kickass saturday morning cartoons. ;)
I think our generation is also the first to realize what a bunch of phony nonsense it is to pretend adulthood represent a certain attitude.
