Considering the number of enemies the catholic church has made through history, when is there not someone thinking of killing the pope? Especially in light of the disregard for laws of man because they believe they answer to a higher authority

So... Pope Benedict gets assassinated and approaches the pearly gates and sees St. Peter greeting them into heaven. He recognizes many familiar faces entering and sees Lady Diana entering the pearly gates and asks St. Peter, "I see that Lady Diana has been granted into heaven but she gets adorned with a halo. She has helped a few charities but I am the Pope and clearly deserve a bigger halo don't you think?"
St. Peter smiles at Pope Benedict and informs him, "that's not a halo... that's a steering wheel."

joining the hitler jugend was mandatory. so when you say all nazi youths need to be killed that means everybody who was young back then. (over 80 now btw. not 60, i miscalculated)
i haven't read about the pope being in a nazi boarding school, and even if he was, he didn't chose to go there.
and he was drafted into the military but deserted the moment the allies got close.
there isn't a single thing that points to him being a willing nazi.

There are plenty of valid criticisms to have with the Pope, especially with regard to the corrupt cover-ups of the clergy's misdeeds, but can we please drop the Nazi thing?
Have you clowns ever actually spoken to someone who was German teenager in the early '40s? The Nazis weren't some random organization you joined because you shared their interests, the Nazis were everything. If you weren't an insider, you were an outsider, and God help you if you were an outsider, especially when the war started going badly for them.
Joseph Ratzinger wasn't some officer of the Third Reich. He was just a kid who lived in a fascist country. That doesn't make him evil.
