Is a wet dream manslaughter?
takamalakFeb 11, 2012
nah, just involuntary manslaughter.
ikorkyiFeb 14, 2012
i read fox articles just for the comments at the bottom.

::Cue music::
Every sperm is sacred
Every sperm is good
Ev'ry sperm is needed
In your neighborhood
Every sperm is sacred
Every sperm is great
If a sperm is wasted
God gets quite irate...
elisevilleFeb 12, 2012
Make sure you plan your chorus line of dancing nuns and priests as the "overflow" marches sadly off to the test labs. I suppose some of our American Bishops would be more than happy to take their chorus too.
gillilandboyFeb 11, 2012
I would end up serving multiple life sentences without the eligibility for parole.
zero123Feb 11, 2012
she did it to make a point about women's rights, not to actually introduce the amendment. She voted to table it after she made her point...which was:
"With Oklahoma's new, never-before-experienced Republican majority, we are seeing enactment of more and more measures that adversely affect women and their rights to access safe medical procedures when making reproductive healthcare decisions."
her amendment:
"Any action in which a man ejaculates or otherwise deposits semen anywhere but in a woman’s vagina shall be interpreted and construed as an action against an unborn child."
nairebisFeb 11, 2012
And unfortunately it shows this Senator is too stupid to understand the difference between sperm / egg cells and a fertilized egg, with unique genetics and the capability to grow into a mature adult organism.
I weep for the Republic.Comment is buried, click here to see the rest.
zero123Feb 11, 2012
obviously the humor and irony of her comment was lost in translation. it has to do with denoting the historical legacy of men making decisions about women's health and reproductive issues...not trying to define anything with scientific arguments. Go watch Monty Python, it'll be funnier then.
absoul2Feb 11, 2012
CSI agent: "It's like a slaughter house in here!"

The sock under my bed would put me on death row.

Wow. I can't believe how many people have commented in here without reading anything deeper into this than the title.

You must be new to Digg.
TaliscatFeb 11, 2012
Well in the bible it does say not to waste it...that you should go forth and multiply.
So it should be included in the laws! Damn that separation of church from the state
Closed AccountFeb 11, 2012
And what if the law passes, and masturbation actually becomes illegal? What then?
rgb86Feb 11, 2012
Sadly, that'd probably make the evangelicals ecstatic...
...In fact, it may cause involuntary orgasm, thereby incriminating them of the very law they're celebrating! :-P
Closed AccountFeb 12, 2012
I am flaunting this (and many others) law as we speak. It's all fine. The world is not coming to an end.,
gkiltzFeb 12, 2012
This is the oldest trick in the book. Let's see if it works.
Jkidder18Feb 12, 2012
She makes a good point. When it comes to abortion can we just look away like we always have. There not a right and wrong answer. God: I'm going to create something awesome that men will thing about every 7 seconds and its going to feel amazing, but theirs a catch. muaha hahahaah i think he was also petting a cat or something. Then I'm going to restrict the f**k out of it through religion and if they f**k up then to hell with them FOREVER.
Women I just want you to know that we don't think about and want sex because its a choice we've made. We were just minding our own business one day a bam, boobs where awesome. I still don't know why I love them so much. all they are is just balls of fat but i want to touch and play with them all day. Oh hey im just going to wear a low v cut shirt that shows off my boobs but god forbid If i caught you looking at them.
Jkidder18Feb 12, 2012
9 months trying to escape the vag and a lifetime trying to get back in.
starjotsFeb 11, 2012
Of course it should be illegal. Choking the chicken and spanking the monkey are cruelty to animals.
matthewbrooksFeb 11, 2012
Off my normal beaten track but really... How daft is this ? I suspect that you really have to understand the ins and outs of U.S. politics to get it.
bluenose2Feb 11, 2012
'beaten' track....I'm sure.
sab0tageFeb 11, 2012
It's supposed to be daft, she is using it to make a (good) point.
glbernsFeb 11, 2012
She's pointing out the ridiculous obsession of today's Republican party in the U.S. on anti-abortion legislation. They campaigned on creating jobs, but have spent their efforts to restrict voting, end unions, and push radical anti-abortion and anti contraception legislation.
reaper527Feb 11, 2012
for what its worth, you more than likely have no idea what oklahoma state senators campaigned on.
murrayc1968Feb 11, 2012
For a moment, let's pretend that everyone agrees that sperm (btw, it's sperm, not semen that fertilizes an egg) should ONLY be deposited into a vagina with the SOLE INTENT to get a woman pregnant.
Ok, but you have to remember it takes ONLY ONE sperm to fertilize the egg, so by the Senator's definition, the other sperm who didn't make it will die. That means the intentional Father should be charged with a million counts of homicide.
Also, if the amendment is passed, will it make my wife's face an accessory to murder?
bluenose2Feb 11, 2012
Stop being logical. It will hurt their head.
rgb86Feb 11, 2012
Eh...it only takes one sperm to actually fertilize the egg, but one sperm alone could not break through the cell wall. It's a group effort where only one sperm gets the prize.
murrayc1968Feb 12, 2012
Those little sluts
austinjameshereFeb 11, 2012
These are obviously crazy people we are dealing with. They should not be in public service.
bluenose2Feb 11, 2012
And how does she intend to enforce this ?
bumblebizzleFeb 11, 2012
She'll have all the males wearing a chastity belt, if you want to have sex it will be supervised, missionary position and by permit only.
bluenose2Feb 11, 2012
LOL
bwiiiFeb 11, 2012
I think she plans to open wide and take it all in. Heck, she's the one who has declared every sperm to be sacred.
countess666Feb 11, 2012
i think the plan is to make the law unpassable, even for republicans, not to actually enforce it.
benjie25Feb 11, 2012
She doesn't. She's making fun of the female version of anti-abortion and making a male version of the same restrictions.
walkertxclockerFeb 11, 2012
Well, not really.
If it was the same condition for women then it would be every egg cell is sacred and women would be breaking the law every month they have their period and don't get pregnant.
I understand she is making a point. I just think that it is a lousy way to make one. I'm one of those people that think people should have rational discussions for the purposes of legislating to millions of people. I know it is a very sensitive subject. But really? Is this the best people we can get in Congress? Sadly, recent history points to yes.Comment is buried, click here to see the rest.

anglosaxongalFeb 12, 2012
Oh! I see, she's smart! Let the lying narcissistic satanists come out and declare they are instituting satanism in Oklahoma.
anglosaxongalFeb 12, 2012
LMAO!!! She's CRAZY! I'd step on the little devil worms of evil men if I see a comdom in public I will grind it under my heel.

in my world he would be fired immediately.
blacklilyninjaFeb 11, 2012
because this is foxnews its automatically labeled as sensationalist however the point is made to me.

As we've all heard, even a stopped clock is right twice a day.
cowicideFeb 12, 2012
This crazy f**k is a Senator? No wonder our country is spinning out of control.
thisisbobFeb 11, 2012
Well, its obvious that this chick doesn't swallow, so screw her.
bwiiiFeb 11, 2012
Sounds like Ms. Johnson is really, really in favor of knocking up a whole lotta Oklahoma ladies. Luckily, that would probaly lead to more fetal killings, and thus complete her constitutionally protected circle of un-life.Comment is buried, click here to see the rest.

Read the article
nairebisFeb 11, 2012
The poster did read the article, hence the comment. The point is that the Senator is too stupid to understand the difference between sperm and fertilized eggs.Comment is buried, click here to see the rest.
countess666Feb 11, 2012
she knows the difference perfectly well.
she's just making sure the same restrictions apply to males that the republicans want to enforce on females, and in doing so make sure the ridiculousness of the laws are plain for all to see.
nairebisFeb 11, 2012
She's drawing a parallel between protecting human life with a capability to grow to maturity, and sperm, which cannot grow into a mature human. That means she's too stupid to know the difference. Her point (and yours, apparently) makes no sense.Comment is buried, click here to see the rest.
countess666Feb 11, 2012
bulls**t. she knows the difference perfectly well.
its you who's too stupid to know her intent, and to see the inherent discrimination in these proposed laws.
nairebisFeb 11, 2012
I understand perfectly her *intent* (which, of course, is obvious). The point is that the parallel she's drawing is completely stupid. Regardless of which side of the issue one is on, it is simply factual that the concept of fertilized eggs and the concept of sperm cells are totally different.
And given that she made the point, then she must be too stupid to understand the difference. This is simply inarguable. If she understood the difference, then she would not have made the point. Because her demonstration gives fuel to her opposition -- that fertilized eggs ARE fundamentally different, because of their capability to grow into a mature organism.Comment is buried, click here to see the rest.
absoul2Feb 11, 2012
It's funnier the more you argue! More!
johnnickFeb 11, 2012
Yep. The poster read the article so well that the poster thought the legislator proposing the amendment was male. That's some good reading comprehension skills right there.
Want to try again, nairebis?
nairebisFeb 11, 2012
The poster made a mistake that makes no difference to the point.
