The real problem is the people let the cops get away with it. There was anotherr incident today at a walmart with an off duty cop that arrested a fellow and pepper sprayed people for no good reason.
That cop should have had a dose of his own pepper spray. These cops should have had bloody noses

He was unconscious and the cops said he, "unfortunately fell on his head." Oh geez, talk about overkill.

Well, now spraying members of your own species with a disabling chemical agent has become a fad. Way to go.
I think schools and stores that do this, or stand by while people do it to other people on their property will be shunned this time next year in favor of other, better managed institutions.

The police, it seems, are just another street gang. They go around and brutalize people, then act all self-righteous when called out for their bad behavior.
I don't want to say all cops are bad. But the few good cops who stand by and allow bad behavior on the part of their "brothers in blue" or help in the cover up of illegal acts are just as guilty if not more so then the rest.

They do call them the 'boyz in blue' for a reason.

Some cops. Let's not forget, just like the rogue OWS protester or the douche-bag conservative commentator, there is a certain percentage of any population group that casts a negative image over the rest.

True dat!

99.9% of police give the rest a bad name.

FTA: “Unfortunately, the suspect landed on his head”
anomaly100Nov 26, 2011
Don't you hate when that happens?!

Why is it that police are almost never liable for any damages they cause during an arrest but nearly always eligible to *receive* payment for damages they cause?
Suspect gets hurt because a cop was chasing him down with a cruiser? It was probably his fault anyway! At most the state will cover medical expenses and that's it (even if they are proven innocent and the only reason they ran was because a cop car came screeching at them). Flip that and if the cop gets injured pursuing the suspect, the suspect will get charged if it is humanly possible.
I believe in most states police get away with shooting suspects dozens of times, at least in part, because they can't get into trouble for it even if they hit a bystander. As long as there is more than one officer there to say the suspect appeared dangerous somehow and escalated the situation, it is *he* who will be liable for any damages/harm caused by the ten police shooting at him. Similar is true of the military which is a major reason why military occupation is f**king evil and retarded.

Welcome to Walmart...

The officer jumped to the conclusion that the man was shoplifting even though he was not trying to hide the video game, just put it in his waist band. He was reaching to help his grandson who had been knocked over by other shoppers. The officer, instead of assessing the situation and actually observing what was happening, reacted by assaulting the man. If the officer had said, "Sir you need to give me that game or pay for it" instead of immediately grabbing and attempting to arrest him, things would probably have been different.
Keen judgement is a requirement for proper enforcement of the law. The lack of judgement in today's force shows that there is no real leadership. Police are allowed to basically do whatever without any real punishment.

Police are suppose to be here to help, not hurt! That rarely seems the case.
Angry_MuppetNov 26, 2011
Except of course for the hundreds, if not thousands of incidents a day that go unreported. It's not as though FreakoutNation has their ace reporting staff actively tracking the activities of the police, following up on the domestic disturbance call, the accident with fatalities or the burglery.

Walmart's?
barackalypseNov 26, 2011
This is exactly what happens in a Country with one set of rules for the rulers and another for the ruled. Maybe this will cause some people to re-think continuing to give Government more money and power. Its time the legitimate source of both, the people, get it back.

What utter horse s**t.
