but then the headline is wrong. They hacked idiot computer users, not the MPAA. And that assumes they even own and run the botnet as opposed to just renting it, which anyone can do.
It just seems to be Anon's MO to DDoS everyone and call it a day. Pretty boring if you ask me. Sometimes they'll do something more like really comprimise a server and get access to sensitive info, but 3 out of 4 of their "hacks" are just websites they took down.
This isn't really effective plus it just gives hacker a bad rep for nothing. Political figures will just point the finger at them and try to pass laws like with everything else that's Now suppressing our freedom to revolution the world
