This has absolutely nothing to do with the article...but it makes me sad that the only reason Charles Taylor's trial EVER comes up on the news is because celebrities are testifying in it. He did some pretty terrible things in Liberia, so why are celebrities more important than...pretty much all of Africa, which is never on the news? I hate the news.

Those two are hardly comparable...
Wyclef Jean is at worst some guy who's in over his head and has no clue what he's doing, while at the same time making a big show of it. "at worst", as in, that's what he's accused of.
The Taylor clam has committed countless atrocities, has the blood of thousands of people on his hands. I have no doubt that Charles Taylor Sr. deserves the death penalty. And where do you think that douche Charles Taylor Jr. gets his stuff from?

I went to Primary School in Italy with one Charles Taylor's sons, I was really hoping this would be him but I don't think it is. The kid was called Ali, short for Alain I think, and he was really f**ked up, didn't really have any friends. I think it was because he'd seen atrocities in Liberia. So now I guess one of his brothers is serving 97 years in prison for torture and another is a rapper. I wonder what the other 11 are doing.

Interesting, i thought the term "gentlemen" was mainly an American thing. Heard him use it in his rap and was taken aback a little, though he does sound american so maybe thats just what he has learned.
