This happened at EDC LA last year. It's tragic, but it's also a big set back for the people behind these mega raves.

Aren't these "mega-raves" pretty much an oxymoron? It just a concert with glow sticks at that point...

lol...no

Raves...lol...I was at a rave with The Pink Floyd playing back in 68, what kids have now is an excuse to take E and act like the little drama queens they are.

wonder what the final reports will show. In Dallas its been close to 100 in daytime but under 80 F at night...can't be heat stroke but perhaps lack of enough 'free water' added to the sickness rate.
Texas venues tend to encourage people to buy any drinks, sell drinks like beer mostly- and don't have enough watering areas for free.
for sure any drugs like ex. don't help at all a person stay hydrated and cool.

This is really just a bit of a cleaning up of the gene pool.

Inaccurate title -- at the end of the article it states the person who died was 15 and therefore should not have been at the 18+ event
lordvanceJun 20, 2011
Update at 8:30 p.m.: WFAA now reports that the deceased was 19-year-old Andrew Graf of Argyle. (the article was corrected long before your comment - the title is accurate)
