Thank you for writing about our new apps! The only time giant pictures of food appear on Facebook is still if you choose "Share on Facebook" when spotting; the Timeline app only shows much lighter weight activity and groups it all together. You can always opt out of Timeline, but for those who opt in, we agree that we hope it will be a great way to spread the word about amazing dishes! But you could also think about it this way -- we give food porn a true home, so people don't HAVE to fill up Instagram & Facebook with it at all! :-) -Alexa from Foodspotting
