You are so rude. Are you 12?

It is funny how some torrent sites are respected so much they are not announced on any tracer channels/sites (torrent racer). It doesn't necessarily mean they are faster, just that it not being a secret is not 100% true.

torrents rocks

"TL offered this particular release 6 minutes and 57 seconds after it first appeared on the Internet " First appeared from where? If its the first site it appeared on in the recorded list, how did it appear 6 months after appearing on itself?Comment is buried, click here to see the rest.

SCC is insanely fast. I use usenet more and more though.
vipervinNov 7, 2010
I'm still using newzbin.com, but what is faster and more up to date these days? Usenet or torrents?

I've never got this whole private tracker thing, it seems like a bit of a contradiction. A lot of the people on these sites have this "information should be free" sort of mentality, stick it to the man and all that. But on a private tracker you're sort of saying "information should be free, but only to a select group of like-minded individuals". It's reminds me of Animal Farm: "All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others."

The most accurate description is communism. Everyone in a community works together for a common goal, and everyone in that community benefits from it. It has nothing to do with the information being free or not free but more allowing people who can aid the community in, and removing the people who harm the community.
The reason communism doesn't work in real life is countries can not kick people out if they are not keeping up to par; they can not filter who is in their commune. Because of that you get masses of people who hurt the community, who outweigh the select few who aid it.
Private torrent trackers are a rare, if not one of the only example of communism working.

Usenet and IRC gets them faster and you don't have to upload anything. It's twice as fast and you don't have to worry about MPAA/RIAA agents logging your IP.
I guess people are willing to sacrifice efficiency and quality as long as the experience is fairly new, right? Jackasses.
angelbunnyNov 7, 2010
no they don't. I can easily get a bdrip less than 30 seconds from pre.
