This right here will be responsible for largest gains in performance in day to day computing. Storage performance has long been the bottleneck in PC performance.
There shouldn't be any such thing as boot time, or application load time, or file transfer time. It should all be virtually instantaneous. As much as gamers think their PC performance is amazing when they're getting 100+ FPS in the latest PC game, their PC actually sucks because even the best HDD setup is slow in comparison to everything else on their computer, and their day-to-day computing tasks suffer because of it.
This is especially true of designers and developers and digital artists who constantly work with large files in the OS environment.
