0bama is a real piece of work!
Hey 0bama! How about stopping illegal immigration instead of screwing with kids?
weRULEyouNov 28, 2010
We Feds don't have to follow our laws; it is you who must follow our laws. If illegal immigrants support us why would we ever persecute them; they're more loyal to us than many of you!!!!
We will go after whoever we choose to go after. Mind your own business.

But he's a Constitutional scholar! He obviously knows what he's doing!!!!1!
zerosumNov 28, 2010
Maybe his class was a debate about whether or not the Constitution should be abolished.
eyecomeanonNov 28, 2010
You realize that Obama had nothing to do with this, right? Just because he's head of the government doesn't mean he writes the laws. YOUR elected Republican douchebags are to be thanked for so rigorously standing behind the corporations that push for these actions.
falstaffNov 28, 2010
You mean the legislative branch that's been completely controlled by Democrats for four years? Those republicans?
fxmulderNov 27, 2010
POLICE STATE!!! DIGG WILL BE NEXT: SHARING ARTICLES IS AGAINST THE STATE POLICE OBAMA GOVERNMENT....
dextrampennaeNov 27, 2010
That sounds like a joke, but it is more than remotely possible.
eyecomeanonNov 28, 2010
Why the f**k do you blame Obama? Are you truly so stupid that you think Obama signs off on every single thing the government does?
Do you even realize that he doesn't write ANY of the laws this country enforces?
codestNov 28, 2010
Don't take them seriously, anon, I seriously doubt anyone else does...
But they are not stupid and throwing such stones does not help. They obviously care a great deal, as we do. It's just sad that the political parties (dem and repub) manipulate their base in to believing such easily disprovable crap.
However, it is peoples responsibility to double check the things they hear before taking it to heart, and in that regard these posters (and many more) obviously have a great deal to learn. They don't trust things people say on the internet, I'm not sure why someone appearing on TV makes what they say any more trustworthy to them. Anyone can say just about anything on TV just as you can on the internet...
Why they assume a giant corporation, like say, Fox News, is on their side, is quite unknown to me. Fox is a business like any other looking to make a buck, and the ignorant tend to be quite profitable for these nefarious organizations.
hipmanNov 28, 2010
I don't know what you're going on about, but to think ICE acted Independantly is wishful thinking. He appointed the head of the agency and supported ACTA.Not to mention what his VP has said about piracy.
DavidM01Nov 28, 2010
Yeah, after all the Republicans have been running Congress for 4 years now....of wait no they haven't
drhex31Nov 27, 2010
due process, we need no due process. /s
rhumu17Nov 27, 2010
sad you have to put a /s tag on that
bulkheddNov 27, 2010
I wonder how they will manage to blame Bush for this.
acdcfanbillNov 28, 2010
You know, other than having started the controversial DHS?

You know, other than having started the controversial DHS?
jareddennisNov 28, 2010
Because we all know it's Obama's fault... somehow...

That's easy. The law under which this seizure was made, Title 18, USC 981, was part of the USA Patriot Act, signed into law by George W. Bush on Oct. 26, 2001.
hipmanNov 28, 2010
And supported by the Democrats and Obama himself. But hey, don't let that stop you.
Closed AccountNov 28, 2010
Obama wasn't in the Senate at the time the Act was voted on. The only Senator to vote against it was a Democrat. Of the 66 Nays in the House, 63 were Democrats.
corbosNov 28, 2010
What does this have to do with homeland security?
ferretmanNov 28, 2010
Well now....I guess they're working out the kinks before they start shutting down "dissent" websites....

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.
First they came for the air travelers, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't an air traveler.
Then they came for the domain owners, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a domain owner.

Nice site

Thank you Obama Administration.
I suggest to everyone if you haven't already to switch from your ISP's DNS servers. I'm using DynDNS and OpenDNS is also good. This is just the start before we start needing networks like TOR.
OpenDNS:
208.67.222.222
208.67.220.220
Dyn DNS:
216.146.35.35

How will changing DNS providers be helpful?
darkshroudDec 1, 2010
Messing with DNS servers is the easiest way that Governments block sites. It's been done to the pirate bay a few times already in different countries.

dratmanDec 1, 2010
Whoa -- a peer-driven DNS?? A wild concept indeed.
But why would DynDNS or OpenDNS be better?
mikpamNov 28, 2010
Rules are rules no matter how asinine .
d3m0n1z3dNov 28, 2010
Like the 5 second rule?
I think you meant laws... And laws are laws, until they are changed to whatever the current society/administration deems more appropriate.
hipmanNov 28, 2010
Yeah well I don't think copyright law will be repealed anytime soon.
37russk4nNov 28, 2010
wow, this seems pretty crazy. i just cant get my head around it.
