Was I the only one who thought this was a lame list? The iPhone 4, with its antenna & cracking problems? An overpriced battery pack and Swiss Army knife? And if you're going to make 4 of 7 items Apple-related, add the words "for fanboys" at the end of the title.
I'm so looking forward to that bury button.

1. Don't get a battery from Luggage Company. Get a battery from www.igo.com.
2. Leatherman is MUCH more useful than Swiss Knife.
3. I will be broke before I leave if I buy Leica. Just buy a nice point and shoot digital camera.
4. Why? You are on a vacation.
5. Do you know how much ATT charge for roaming outside of USA. Get an unlocked GSM phone and buy a SIM card from a country you are traveling in. $25 per 1MB data download is robbery.
6. This is big and bulky. Travel lite, you will be happier. Get an earphone.
7. iPad is nice, but I wish there is 7" version.
