digitaltrends.com — According to a recent study conducted by Sharaholic, Pinterest drove more referral traffic to sites in January than Google+, Reddit, YouTube, LinkedIn and MySpace all combined. Keep in mind, Sharaholic only has access to data from websites that have the Sharaholic application installed.

I really like Pinterest - it's simple while being kind of fun at the same time. :)

Referrals from Google+ – is the REALLY REALLY wrong metric to focus on now. Why? Because Google+ is NOT a link sharing network, like Pinterest or StumbleUpon. The first priority of Google+ is not to generate external links, but to engage INSIDE Google+, which it can do to a great extent without generating a single external link!

I wasn't sure about it at first but have found it a useful way to share and it's user friendly....which is what I used to say about stumbleupon before they made certain brainless changes, imho

It's not just me then. I was frustrated with Stumble when a friend told me about Pinterest. It's my pick now!

My wife was showing me Pinterest and she is addicted. As the article say, it looks like a cork board and is very visual. I was impressed that it used our entire widescreen display. She was showing me pictures of cute dogs, but I could see there are many areas of style.
