Literally exactly what I was going to comment until I saw you beat me to it.

I am pretty sure my phone is the real deal, but now this has made me wonder. Many apps do not work?
nuhausJan 25, 2011
The Nokia clones I have seen will not run any apps. They will not connect to the internet and will be running an OS that only allows you to make calls and send text messages.

American companies really screwed up when they sent all of our jobs and their technology to china. Bet they didn't bank on destroying the us economy and ultimately destroying their own market in the process. They got played and we are paying for it.

Nokla isn't an American company. They are based in Finland.

The quote is "that one out of every five mobile phones sold is an illegal clone" - not 1 out of every five Nokia Phone.

10 out of 10 "illegal clones" are made in the same factories which make the "legal clones".

Here take a look at this video, and you will realise how bad the situation is.

I guess I can make an obscene clone fall.

Clone or not, the only difference is who makes the profit.
AinstainerGroupJan 25, 2011
hope, my Nokia is ok....
flarn2006Jan 26, 2011
Why exactly are these clones illegal? Are they sold as the real thing? If not, I don't see the problem if someone's willing to risk getting a phone that doesn't work as well for a cheaper price.
