Really? I have Froyo on the Droid X, and already I'm tired of the Honeycomb talk and what "may be in Ice cream."
Seriously... at what point, do they just say "f**k it." and roll it out...

Why waste time with Froyo when there is Gingerbread out already, and Honeycomb right around the corner..

It's not Google's fault and the OS is not fragmented. You just don't understand the bigger picture or how big business works and spends money.

If you bought a laptop from Sony 2 years ago and it came pre-installed with Windows XP, why would Sony (or Microsoft) spend money to work and give you a newer OS like Windows 7? They don't. That 2 year old laptop is stuck in Windows XP.

If you want to me sure your mobile phone will be supported for future Android releases, then get a Nexus One (or other Google sponsored phone). I've been running Gingerbread for months. If I call support, Google employees answer the phone, not T-Mobile.
