and it will be overpriced and then Motorola will complain about how their tablet should be killing iPad but for some reason people are too stupid to see how superior their kit is.

Many Tablet vendors are making the same mistake MP3 players made 5-7 years ago. They focus on tech specs (which the average user really doesn't care about) or saying how their tablets run Flash (a technology dying as even Adobe knows) instead of focusing on what makes their tablets the equal or better of the iPad. In other words, the human experience. Take a look at Apple's ads. Almost no flash (no pun intended), just a few carefully crafted shots of people actually using the device. Other maker's ads show ambulance EMTs talking to doctors and then shoving the device in the face of the accident victim. Or showing some guy playing a game in some 3D c**kpit. Might get the techheads excited, but they aren't the majority of the people buying tablets.
Reduce the clutter, show what the device can do without all the BS, and stop bragging about Flash.

So why does ANYONE need a quad-core tablet right now? There's hardly any non-Apple tablet software to be had. Is it only the race to be the first tablet that can run Flash with any decent speed?
This race for raw technical power seems so last decade, compared to refining a platform that works really well as a whole rather than one that has the most electronic flair.

Curious if you have any links? 3.0/3.1/3.2 have all shipped as honeycomb and bringing smartphones, tablets and GoogleTV into one codebase is at least as big a step forward as Honeycomb was from Gingerbread. I would be surprised if it wasn't 4.0
