Really?

Really. Google is impressive, for my personal contact, email and document mgmt. I am also a Google Voice user. considering I pay them in privacy instead of cash , I have no qualms with dealing with the quirky GDocs functionality (have fun with large spread sheets and awkward formatting) because I make minimal use of it.
But, when it comes to enterprise... Google Apps Enterprise isn't even on par with MS Office Enterprise (Desktop Client/Exchange). That's saying something, considering how resource intensive Outlook, alone, can be. If Microsoft is successful in replicating it's applications in the cloud it won't even be close.
The cloud, itself, is not some mysterious hard-to-master concept for data storage and management. It's about mastering the cloud-based apps and I have faith in Microsoft to either get it right, or get it wrong and successfully respond to the consumer.
Say what you will about Microsoft's past transgressions, but they really do listen to their consumers and work hard to retain them. This is why Windows 7 is far better than Vista and they still support Microsoft XP for those who still aren't ready to take the leap.

Office 365 pretty much kicks the crap out of Gdocs.

Yes, really. Google has almost completely ceded the enterprise search market to Autonomy. It's a damn shame because Autonomy is a British company and Google could make a killing by creating a plug-n-play infrastructure for big business out of their search software.
If Google would build a "grid-like" search appliance (I don't think their current ones work like this) that can be plugged together to create a "search cloud" with nearly 0 configuration, it would cripple Autonomy within a year (because Autonomy can be hard as hell to get working right).Comment is buried, click here to see the rest.

They are the BIG BROTHER of IT. Murdoch and Cameron use browser data to to sell stuff to people and to spy on everyone. Let us not forget what happens to people who do not fear Big Brother!

Is this true? How come? All I know Google is always number 1 on anything.. If this is true, then they need to act immediately.

It is true that Microsoft's products are more feature rich when it comes to the enterprise. But I wouldn't say Google is failing, I think it is tough for Google to adjust to large enterprises that take a long time to adapt to change. Many large enterprise take years to adapt technology and thus are always behind the consumer market.

In the terms of making money on enterprise Google very much is failing. Microsoft not only has tens of millions of customers out numbing Google all of MS's enterprise customers pay money for their services. People don't want to pay Google for anything.

If you say something enough times, people begin to believe it's true. Microsoft wants people to think that Google is failing so they will view Google's offerings negatively.

Have you looked at Vivisimo's product? It has a great GUI based configuration system, scalability based on compute clusters, and plenty of search features for the enterprise!
