Really not that exciting, Kindles aren't available to Chinese markets. You have to purchase it off market and bring it with you.
But really, this great firewall sucks. Its sad in this day and age.

Thats a fair point. And it costs quite a bit to run the data to your kindle. Browsing the web with it will cause an increase in charges.

This, unfortunately, isn't as much of a development as we'd all like, for two reasons: (1) If there's a leak, it'll be plugged shortly, and (2) Like all other internet censorship, it will be circumvented five minutes later.
