The Onion does a great job of making parodies. Some good actors there, not just a bunch of college slackers mugging for the camera, like at college humor.

I would laugh, but my girlfriend's brother in law loss his job about 2 years ago and about 6 months into unemployment he cashed out his 401k. He said to pay off bills and he bought a brand new imac Intel i5 27 inch. He reasoning was he could learn how to Java program on this....... For at least 4 years he's gone on and on about learning Java and raking in the big bucks.
Saw him a few months back he's back to doing desktop support, and I don't think he has learned a lick of Java.

Time? What time? At the same time that every news outlet spent all day talking about how bad the economy was, people started lining up for iPhone 4s. Then iPads. Now iPad 2s. It never stops. When every other company is laying people off and shutting down branches just to stay alive, Apple is slapping a lower-case "i" on a turd and people are lining up for them. Then Engadget is falling all over itself talking about how revolutionary the iTurd is.

I think yes. Once they buy new Apple computer they can use it for doing research like how to make superconductors out of toilet paper etc.. and when they market it they can make money so that they can survive on their own steam.

True story: I had to buy a new laptop during a period of unemployment to work on my video editing career. It wasn't a mac, though, it was an Asus. And now I WORK as a video editor. . .go figure.

Ugh, I cringed when I heard them discuss graphic design. Why is it common belief that you need a Mac to do graphic design? There's zero difference between a Mac and PC for design!
