I didn't actually know that search histories were stored. I had over 14,000 results on there since 2009. It was fun going through part of the list and seeing what I was looking up before I deleted it.
I typically don't search Google while logged in. Check email, check youtube, log out because I am done. Also what happened to turning off history for non-logged in users? I used to make a habit of it, but would have to turn it off again on each new browser load because I would clear my cookies, which changed the setting back.
s**tball Google is redirecting the /history URL to the main search, at least in the UK and Germany (confirmed). To get around this use Google search with the terms <google history> and then follow the link (first hit) from within Google..
