I think digg is doing a little better job as of late fighting spam, so thank you digg team.

How do? You mean the three spam comments in EVERY front page article?
Of how just about every comment in this thread is a circlejerk c**k suck which is basically spam in and of itself. Worthless "Great post!" comments designed to get the submitted to reciporicate the digg when they post some s**tty article.
Even the front page is still just as spammy. Everything is paid for.Comment is buried, click here to see the rest.

We have changes in progress (read: very soon) that should greatly help the amount of spam comments. Thanks for the patience and commendation.

It is good that hey have the STAFF icon next to Digg employees now. It really helps weed out hte crap of people afraid of losing their jobs just toeing the company line.Comment is buried, click here to see the rest.

I appreciate richid clarifying this. Rufioho on the other hand must be insane. I downvote everything chileanminer says usually, but on this one he's nailed it. And that includes his take on the lame circle jerk comments.

CLASSIC! My comment is getting buried...and then right below me at two spam comments. Ones that won't be removed.

When it comes to digg spam, I wonder how many people just get annoyed and move past it rather than reporting it.
Has anyone else noticed that you seem to have to downvote something before you can report it?
