Maybe a Digg V3 app from Google?
Digg page views have dropped 50%! Reddit in the lead now!

mahlerSep 8, 2010
I can imagine that Digg is only happy with such a drop in views, because it will break the website less often and the developers can work on features instead of stabilizing the website.

kevin rose doesn't care about digg users.
daviddifrancoSep 8, 2010
That's BS and you know it. Please, for the love of God, stop bitching. If you think you can do better, then build your own version of Digg.
vstg005Sep 8, 2010
f'ing tinyp.. ah screw it. I'm off to reddit.

What happened to all the comments?
old_doggSep 8, 2010
The vast majority of users who made this place fun has left. Kevin thinks he can continue without them.
Now you'll mostly find Digg v4 apologists and employees trying super hard to make the site feel alive again. What you're seeing here is the sad result of that.Comment is buried, click here to see the rest.

im on here once a day hoping to see a glimmer of light. I used to be on here once every 15-30 minutes each day.
machzySep 8, 2010
The new Digg - that's what happened.
letterqSep 8, 2010
Yawn.
shaunywSep 8, 2010
There's a few hardcore users throwing their toys out of the pram over digg 4 and burying everything they can. They will get bored or hit puberty soon enough.

Think about this when it comes to just how bad the digg staff are. Not abut hte autosubmit spam. But this site is STILL completely broken almost 2 full weeks after the new version launched. Cqn you imagine ANY site that expected to be profitable that would allow that to happen? I dare say almost half the time I click a link it gives me an error..STILL.
Pathetic.Comment is buried, click here to see the rest.

Has anyone seen Syntaxgs in the last couple of weeks? I fear we may have lost him....

Look at all these buried comments goodness
hordakSep 8, 2010
Nice. They have basically integrated the searchmash.com search engine. A little history lesson:about 3 years years ago, Google used searchmash as their testing ground for innovative UI enhancements (for search). It did exactly what the new Google instant search does now.
