Google plus is the way forward now - as much as i love tweeting! What do you think?

You're right. It's only a matter of time before almost all media/business entities create Google+ accounts. When that happens, what do you need Twitter for?
But Twitter is there for simplicity. I haven't tried the G+ mobile app yet but if it'
s simple to use then Twitter, we have a problem.

I find Google + really boring. It's not Facebook and it's not Twitter. It's a strange amalgamation of the two and I don't get the point of it.

In Google+ you can hangout with people even the famous ones,
in Twitter you have to think twice if you reply to a tweet by a famous someone and when you do reply you oftentimes don't even receive a hint if your existence was acknowledged by anyone, even the followers of that person. It feels like you're alone out there. In G+ you discuss with new people most of the time.

Google + is new in market with all the latest features so i didn't use twitter but it definitely hit Facebook.

Twitter has people using it though, Google+ by comparison is a desert with some tumble weed getting blown by.

One thing to consider here is that this is coming from Robert Scoble. He was pretty influential in getting people to adopt Twitter in the beginning. Scoble is often wrong about many things, but as someone who is really into this crap day in and day out, he's got a good perspective on it.
Google+ is a much better infrastructure than Twitter, and once the content gets built out on it (from users and publishers) Twitter won't stand a chance.
This has been a long time coming as Twitter never did evolve in any meaningful way, and most people found 140 characters to be a joke and hacked around other inabilities of the service (like photos).
At some point, Twitter will feel the hurt, and radically change to try to keep up, but in doing so will piss off their remaining user base. At that point, it will be all over, and we'll be talking about how much money was spend on Twitter with no business model for any real revenue.
