8.5 mill is not that much for google
oboySep 5, 2010
$8.5 million. Google makes that in just under 4 hours on adwords alone.
fusongSep 5, 2010
hehe, that's right..

Yeah, other people's privacy is a cheap commodity it seems.

Settled for peanuts.

Here's the thing... I've been visiting digg for a long time; sans account.
Sadly; this whole corporate-sellout and spam-news-feed (like this article) totally kills any interest... but happily, reddit seems the solution.
So hey, I finally get off my ass, and create an account, just to say...

Another blow to Google but i am sure they too are concerned about their users and fans privacy.

I wonder if the real issue here is how cheap was someone willing to settle. Sometimes there are things people are not willing to allow in discovery. As was just mentioned on the first segment of today's, "The Tech Guy" It would be nice if we saw settlement or some discovery from the Major ISPs. The way they are devaluing hard line internet for non-net-neutral wireless I think we might be losing the war without knowing how.

Google makes news again.. 8.5 million is not much for Google to cough up anyway.
