If and when I could make and receive free VOip phone calls, via Internet wifi [with a wifi enabled phone or mobile computer], then the Open Space Wifi project will receive my approval.
Currently I can make free phone calls via Gizmo5/Google.. but of course Wifi availibity is limited /locked.
ps. I wish people would free up /unlock their Internet Wifi Everywhere. It would really signal to the observer that Humans are ready for the next step in their Internet Revolution.

In an article i read about this earlier, they mentioned that a lot of this spectrum was just freed up by the switch to DTV.

Will it be for licensed or unlicensed devices? (Read as, who will control this? Mom and pops setting up their own wifi, or big mega corps paying the FCC for space?)
