Confuciussay - but Wikipedia allows EVERYONE (including Cubans) to add / amend entries. So, by definition, Wikipedia gives multiple viewpoints as it is.

Batista, US supported dictator, ruled Cuba and squashed human rights and freedoms...no, problem for the hypocritical US...American Mafia ran big gambling clubs in Havana. Cuban citizens were living in poverty while the US mob, and US dictator and friends lived in luxury.
Castro - the commie - comes along and throws out the mob, and the US supported dictator.
The US slaps on trade embargos that continue today.
Over and over again, the US preaches "freedom" and supports dictators who crush freedom.
Other notable dictators that the US has supported: Pinochet, Saddam Hussein, military junta in Guatemala, Diem in Vietnam, the Shah of Iran, Charles Taylor, Samosa family, Noriega....

Yeah maybe, but it's nothing to what they could have had if Cuba had gotten a democratic government instead of a communist dictator. It always blows my mind when people defend Castro they never take into account that s**tty under Batista, then s**tty under Castro is still lights years behind the fact that if they had gotten Democracy, liberty, and justice the frickin place would now be a paradise.
