AT&T wasn't even ready for the iPhone when it came out...hell it STILL isn't ready for it. What makes you think that AT&T is actually going to have 4G ready in any near future. (They still bitch about how the iPhone practically destroyed their network.)

I may be American, but I depend more on a Canadian provider due to my location...you would not believe the difference in speeds when roaming. The AT&T network feels like a dial-up connection compared to Rogers or Fido. (Yet AT&T claims to have the same speeds as Rogers claims.)

Cue late April where AT&T builds giant switch that appears to be On/Off switch for 4G but turns out to be connected to nothing and just another marketing lie.
