Yeah this is the same guys work I think, looking at the demo.

I downloaded the app shown in the video and it does not work nearly as well as the video. Maybe my beard was throwing off the facial recognition, but it littered around all over the place and sometimes refused to even move at all, even when my face was lit by direct light.

Just because they patent the technology, don't expect to see it implemented in the near future. They hold lots of patents that have never been implemented.
