It's a good thing we have "news" outlets to tell us of the latest thing that we're supposed to be offended or outraged about...otherwise we might spend our time thinking about more important things.
ganga19Feb 3, 2012
considering that steve jobs accounted for some of the most reported on "news" in the last 3 years of hist life, yes, i agree, it's a very good thing that we have outlets that coose to report on irresponsible things like these

Guys, Apple used Gandhi, Jim Henson, and MLK to sell computers. I know it's a bit "too soon" here but let's not get too worked up about this.
MrFrogyFeb 3, 2012
Anything that could insult the memory of Stevus Christ must be destroyed!
mtownFeb 3, 2012
Not really offensive, but pretty tasteless.
niksalexFeb 3, 2012
Yeah..tasteless
macparrotFeb 2, 2012
Certainly it's in bad taste, but I wouldn't call it offensive. Far too many other things to worry about that whether some obscure Android tablet maker uses a Jobs-look-a-like in their advertising. I mean who really cares?
talynoneFeb 3, 2012
Only offensive that he's wearing a halo and wings. Those that knew Steve Jobs know the last place he'd end up is in heaven.
emfkFeb 2, 2012
Meh. Wasn't impressed, but they wanted the publicity.
miggieFeb 3, 2012
Jobs would sue.
ForestwalkFeb 3, 2012
I really don't think this is such a big deal. They may have a workable " Non Private Garden" version of Pad.. and they are actually not doing this to harm his name. It is funny..( low brow , but funny ) and if their product works.. so what if its not the exact same super Slick Willie Hippie made version .. Anyone can tell the guy is Asian and not White.. noting on the idea that it is NOT the same thing.. but Just as good.
lemurFeb 3, 2012
Well that was pretty pointless
rufiohoFeb 2, 2012
ehhh too soon
jacquelynekFeb 3, 2012
Offensive for sure. Any company that has to go this far to imitate apple or its former founder in this way is FAIL. At this point you might as well be saying... we know Apple's products and imagination are better than ours.
jacquelynekFeb 3, 2012
Offensive only because of tasteless imagery/suggestion of someone who has passed away and can longer speak for themselves.
tehravenFeb 4, 2012
sue for themselves*
justatoolFeb 2, 2012
Not cool but they gotta do what they gotta do.
sab0tageFeb 3, 2012
Well, they've got his knack for spouting ridiculous superlatives down.
megazuurkoolFeb 3, 2012
Maybe it's not offensive, but it's sure not funny..
ganga19Feb 3, 2012
that's just wrong... google should appologize for this, imo
ronnisrFeb 3, 2012
Google? Why the f*ck should Google be responsible for what a Taiwanese manufacture does?
tehravenFeb 4, 2012
ROFL!
