The iPhone is accessible and a really popular device for blind users because of VoiceOver: http://www.apple.com/accessibility/iphone/vision.html
You can basically touch anything on the screen and the phone will say what it is out loud.

I don't own an iPhone but I did get a nice tour of one by an owner. He ran me though the music features, using the browser and emailing. He was also totally blind. Apple has done a great job of making their device accessible and usable.
This company has put out a product for a very reasonable price, which adds to the independence of certain users. I applaud them.

In Canada, the Canadian Mint is required to put braille on the bills to help Blind people read what bill they're holding.

In EU all the bills are different sizes I believe so blind people can tell them apart .
