That is pretty cool.

At first this does seem pretty slick, but they seem to be directing this more toward patients than doctors so people can send images to their physicians. I suppose if you have someone who is high risk for certain types of skin cancer or other disorders and it's not convenient for them to see the doctor in person, this might be useful. I wonder if doctors might use something like this to share information with other doctors, labs, etc.

All I can say is I am happy and amazed when something like this is introduced to everyone. Can you imagine what we will have in twenty years?

i agree with bossm4n.
At first it does seem awesome! but then i looked around my room and i saw a CAMERA! I looked closer and then I saw it. On the camera, barely visible, but there it was. marco. WOW.
To answer your question bossm4n. I work at a teaching hospital. And they do have something like it. They use it all the time for lectures, in meetings, in teaching communities, and in research. Wait for it. It's called a CAMERA. WOOOOOt. A 10 mp camera. probably retails for $150 i once saw a doctor with an SLR. he must have been really high up!!!
