en.magenson.de — for some reason I had no sound coming out of Flash Video on you tube & google. this site has what you need to fix that minor, minor prob.Every once in a while though, on Mac OS X it can happen that these Flash video players don’t have sound anymore. It is pretty hard to figure out why, and the solution is quite random.

I don't want to minimize whatever you're going through but I've never had any problem watching and hearing a video using any of the Flash-based players I've come across -- including those on Google and YouTube. As a side note, I'm running OS X v10.4.7.Have you tried updating to the latest Flash player? A new version was released just today.

Yes, I'm running 10.4.7 and using flash video 9. Well it was weird, i dont know what happened but out of no where i had no sound on you tube or google video or any flash videos, i did that lil fix and it worked, try it out, go into your midi settings then change the audio rate to 96khz, you wont get no sound, put it back and then it works fine.

Hi butchdog, you are going to be better off searching apple discussions or support forum on an issue like this, rather than post it here, which is more a news site. An issue that's more widespread like macbook discoloration is more appropriate... that said, you may want to try the following fix, as I'd had a problem like this in the past and this item on apple's discussions site helped:http://discussions.apple.com/message.jspa?messageID=1501949
