i know your a f**king idiot, mr headline writer, but putting 'i' on the start of something related to apple was never funny, and is the mark of a mouth breathing moron who has never had a original thought in his life.Comment is buried, click here to see the rest.

Apple HAS taken legal action...
bartledooAug 18, 2010
Came here to point that out too. Is it a British news site? Brits often have subject verb agreement issues when referring to groups of people using proper nouns.
pistolfredAug 18, 2010
I was just gonna say that.
chrispix99Aug 18, 2010
Is this the first confirmed case of an iPhone/iPad worm?

Company secret: Just mark all the prices way up, people will simply assume beyond all reason that it's a luxury item and somehow superior to cheaper versions.
keithlolbermannAug 18, 2010
Premium pricing (also called prestige pricing) is the strategy of consistently pricing at, or near, the high end of the possible price range to help attract status-conscious consumers. Examples of companies which partake in premium pricing in the marketplace include Rolex and Bentley. People will buy a premium priced product because:
* They believe the high price is an indication of good quality;
* They believe it to be a sign of self worth - "They are worth it;" it authenticates the buyer's success and status; it is a signal to others that the owner is a member of an exclusive group;
* They require flawless performance in this application - The cost of product malfunction is too high to buy anything but the best - example : heart pacemaker.

spiralspiritAug 18, 2010
I don't think pacemaker fits in there, but otherwise ya.
maxikanaAug 18, 2010
Also pricing at the high end gives you a "buffer" in your products. If you f**k things up you can recall them or just throw the products away before sending them out and making new ones and NOT going bankrupt. This should theoretically increase product quality.
ehauganAug 18, 2010
Apple products are about the same price as the rest of their competitors. Your argument was valid 10 years ago
danc256Aug 18, 2010
The chances that this guy will ever get a decent job ever again are minimal. Sheesh if you're going to sell out at least negotiate for a good-sized chunk of change. Whatever legal fees don't take will go to the IRS for tax evasion. For information that allowed vendors to rake a customer that has fat profit margins, $1M is like a rounding error. Not only is this guy an idiot but he sold himself for cheap. Fries with that?
zb757Aug 18, 2010
He might still have some secret information to sell after the trial
homercles337Aug 18, 2010
Company secrets? Steal ideas from genuine innovators? Then market, market, market? Yeah, sounds about right.

Not bad: he's probably set for life. He can just take his 1 million and move to China, and hire hot Chinese chicks to go out on dates with him. I'd give away my company secrets for 1 million.
