My issue with the Galaxy tab is that it only has a 7" screen. I'd like one with a 10"-12" screen, please.

It's just a different form factor. Some people just prefer a tablet then a laptop. I love my iPad because I can carry it around the house easier then my laptop. It's just lighter and easier to use.
It also comes down to personal taste.
OTOH some people bought iPads because their the latest cool, and new gadget. To me, that is a pretty stupid reason to buy anything, no matter who makes it.

Im still holding for a Tegra 2 tablet with its vastly more powerful Arm cortex 9 dual core processor and GPU. Its a generation ahead of the Samsung offering.
