I probably won't get any old spice, but I'll keep watching these ads. Very ingenious the way that they've been marketing. Have a decent status, be well recognized, then mention a top twitter person and get mentioned then seen by every single follower.

You might like Old Spice if you have not smelled it. I use the deodorant. Although it is only a scent, it does have a certain manly quality to it and it is a very pleasant scent altogether.

As i see it he is "in character" and therefore since his character is as of yet not named, he will be "The Old Spice man"

most people would say "Horatio Caine" if David Caruso did a ad or clip or whatever "in character", so yes you have a point, but personally i don't think of it as a strong one given my argument above.
