Even less of a reason to use Bing for travel.
jakem1Jul 3, 2010
It's important to remember that this is another example of Google copying Bing's features.

Yeah, but only because competition is profitable for everyone, especially the consumer.

Google will become like Microsoft in few years.
jakem1Jul 3, 2010
Google surpassed Microsoft many years ago when it comes to buying products. With the exception of search I can't think of a single product that Google offer that they've developed in-house. Even search has been adulterated by multiple purchases over the years.

The only other one that comes to mind right now is Voice (Grand Central)...

Farecast > ITA
dgresko1974Jul 3, 2010
No one ever heard of ITA ,and the funny thing is they run like 70 to 80 % of all online flight searches. That and they are the one company to modernize the systems that do flight search and availability.
doublebaconsodaJul 3, 2010
Can they make a Goolge planes search now?
I can see myself waiting for a flight and tracking the plane I am about to depart on. It would be cool to watch the plane land on Google Earth while waiting to board..

Wow, it looks like Google is gearing up to be huge player in the travel business. I'm imagining a service like Kayak, but more streamline and integrated with the rest of Google's programs. Should make finding discount travel vacations a whole lot easier
