"its not webhosting.. its webstorage... very few of my important files are -5mb. 2gb FREE from gmail, and as far as i know, no file size cap... In my opinion, box.net sucks."@AverageJoe - I'm fully aware it's not web hosting. My point about spam and ads is simply that you will not receive email from Box or their partners and the site itself will not host ads (a nice thing). Concerning the GMail file size cap, have a closer look:https://mail.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=8770&query=attachment+size&topic=0&type=fAnd as for the storage itself, I personally won't be storing any really important files on Box.net. But I find it useful for my business partners and I to gain access to documents we may need on the go without connecting to our ftp server; especially if we only have port 80 access. The fact that Box.net maintains backups is a great feature for the simple fact that I won't have to re-upload all of my files, they'll just restore. There's no harm in appreciating a true free and neatly designed product. Just more food for though! Thanks for your comments.
Abuse of buzzwords, especially those Web 2.0 related ones, is a felony. The Web 2.0 police are gonna getcha azz!3 strikes and youre out, so watch it yo!
