@radarx:I feel where you're coming from, and I am probably closer to your side of this continuum than Dan's in my own life. Where to draw that line is such a personal thing and tied so closely to ones views of life and death. While it might be fun to try, I doubt we will make much headway on immemorial questions such as those. ;-)Unfortunately you and I can't turn to Dan and ask him how he struggled to answer these questions in his own life, so in his absence I go with the benefit of the doubt. I assume that he loved his daughter and did his best to share his beliefs with her hoping that she would embrace life in her own way, as he did. I acknowledge that might be no closer to reality than the negatives in your first post, but the negatives seem so distasteful in a public forum like this.Anyway, like Rezzy wrote, this is too deep.
