anomalies-unlimited.com — One summer day in France in 1826, Joseph Niepce took the world's first photograph. It's a photo of some farm buildings and the sky. It took an exposure time of 8 hours. Voila! It had to feel pretty incredible, like magic.

JesusphreakMy most humble apologies for implying that you thought the Shroud of Turin was anything other than a hoax. I shall take my ranting and raving elsewhere.... :o)

"Some people believe that the Shroud of Turin is the first photograph ever and this was done in the 1400's."The shroud of turin is a fake. Its been proven. It was concocted around 1100 AD. by the roman catholic church.

"I thought the 1st one was done around 1805 and it was of an uncrowded street in paris...."That was a photograph done by Deguarre with his invention the Degaurreotype. The exposure had to be so long that the streets look empty because of the movie people and carriages.
