@dshPlsIf you'll recall the beginning of this invasion, the checks and balances happened retroactively. Bush initiated operation Shock and Awe on his own, and then asked Congress for a declaration of war a few weeks later, after some public backlash. The Republican controlled Congress was happy to give it to him (though the Dems didn't put up much of a fight at all).

Haven't we heard all of this before??? We know Bush Jr. and Dickie C are faux tough guys who skipped when the s**t actually hit the fan in Nam (by claiming to be a 'Fighter Pilot or by explaining that "I had higher priorities???) and have been big phonies ever since. Torture? War on Terror? Greatest challange of our Generation? They love to posture and puff up while talking about that. PAKISTANI NUKES!!!! Not a peep. We know what these people do when faced with tough choices calling for decisive action: DODGE MAKING A CHOICE and FAKE BEING TOUGH GUYS...
