The OAS is not known as a bastion of liberal or socialist thinking yet they said this: "The EU Election Observer Mission (EU EOM) statement echoed the OAS’s. “Election Day passed peacefully with a low turnout. While the observers noted several irregularities in the voting procedures, the manual audit of the voting receipts revealed a high reliability of the voting machines,” it said." On the other hand this article yu are all digging seems like a hack!

This article describe the situation about my country where political pursuit is a daily practice. In fact the "Tasc?n List" is an example where privacy details (address, identification number or "c?dula de identidad",etc.) and political intention of our votes are exposed in front of the government and every its followers. This database is easy to download with emule or edonkey with a previous search like "tascon" if you don't believe in my words. Frequently, if you work to a transnational company, like Invensys (Industrial control systems and all related products)-this is my personal case- and if you need acquire a special pass to do works in any PDVSA plants(State Oil Company),we need pass the Tascon list filter first and, probably, if you don't think or was signed against Ch?vez president in the "Referendum" you won't obtain the pass, won't work in the industrial plant or make any services to this customer. Today, this situation persist in some cases. The questions are: Why the CNE lies to our people or accept that anybody obtain confidential data from that government institute? and, Why our, personal, political opinion is used against ours? I'm a citizen, not a soldier that should accept all the things that comes from the Ch?vez President and his followers. I'm very disagree with this situation and the immediately future of my country. Also, I don't believe in the CNE or any other government institute because, before the last elections, the political believes of their represents are align with the vision of the Ch?vez President only. I think that the words of Sim?n Bol?var (The Liberator) was an epitaph to Venezuela: "...Un pueblo ignorante es instrumento ciego de su propia destrucci?n..."

ochito: "...lame stunts like subsidizing oil for 'poor New Yorkers' designed just to piss Bush off..."You must not be a "poor New Yorker."And, why should it piss Bush off if 'poor New Yorkers' get oil at a price they can afford? Would he rather have people freeze to death, or are you thinking that he was just about to use his influence with the U.S. oil industry to get cheaper oil for 'poor New Yorkers' before Chavez beat him to it?I'm just askin'

@ratbagujunkaccount.smith@gmail.comYes, it's a temporary as it sounds, but I don't feel like giving out my email address here. Email me, IF, you would actually consider still bringing a case against your country/city. If not, then whatever, I'll drop the issue. My aunt works for the post office in Miami and in '04 she drove around with sticker that said "Fcuk Bush, Vote Kerry '04". I happen to disagree with her, and so did her supervisor. Didn't stop him from promoting her eariler this year, because, well, she was the best person for the job. I can't even imagine what hell she would have raised if she hadn't gotten the promotion, let alone been fired 4 months earlier.

Ya, rigging elections in other countries makes our news, yet the fact that we let Bush cheat his way into a second term goes unnoticed...
