Why does that need to be reconciled? The point I was making was about the day of the year that easter is celebrated. If the english name of the holiday was derived from some pagan goddess, that does not mean that the timing has anything to do with a pagan holiday. In fact, in most languages other than English and German (I think), it is not even called Easter, but is called Pesach (and other variations) becuase of the passover. Look it up if you don't believe me.....
