laughingsquid.com — Check out the 2nd part of the write-up. There's an obnoxious sign at the entrance of LinuxWorld 2006 that says "LinuxWorld is open to business professionals only. No one under 18 years of age will be admitted". I'm not sure which is worse, not letting in people under 18 or the fact that it's for business professionals only.

Actually he was around 20.But still, this sign is stupid, specially the "business professionals" part. There are lots of kernel hackers out there who wouldn't classify themselves this way.

Silly. I hope its just some insurance issue and not some lame attempt to make Linux seem "more professional" to the world or whatever. Even Apple allows kids to their shows.

Because the exhibitors didn't pay thousands to get their booths there to hand out freebies to a bunch of kids. THey are trying to promote their business.
