Their goforce chipsets have ALWAYS been for mobile development. You may be confusing them with the GeForce Go series, which are intended for laptops (I've got one in my Powerbook).There are a lot more cellphones coming out with 3D capabilities; I know a few people who worked on Qualcomm's prototype slider with a Quakelike demonstration.
