I forget precisely. I think one of them had "UPnP" in the title and the other "SSDP". They were linked, so disabling one disabled the other, or something along those lines. For some reason Windows Media sharing would not work without them enabled, so it was either uTorrent or Windows Media Player.
That's not the point. The point is, it's closed source and now that his has happened, it's kinda stupid to trust it. It's all about trust.Iv'e been using uTorrent for a long time, but I don't see how I'll be able to use it for any longer if I don't trust it. Maybe if it's opened up, I'll trust it.
Only reason I see to upgrade from the "working" 1.6 before they "sold out" is the SECURITY fix.- Fix: Fix malformed .torrent exploitIt's fixed from version 1.6.1-Build 483 beta and up. This version was also released prior to the "sellout" (last build). Unfortunately blocked on many trackers for being beta.
For all of you that that think it's bulls**t that uTorrent has sold out, I can attest to the fact that I'VE BEEN CAUGHT USING IT. I was downloading something off Pirate Bay and got a nasty email from my ISP comcast to stop downloading pirated materials. Ironically this was the first time I used uTorrent. Now I think I am will stay with Azures. So while the fact I caught may have nothing to do with uTorrent I did get caught using it and I haven't using Azures. Something to think on.

PeerGuardian doesn't even really work. Unless your intention is to block totally valid peers.
