i.gizmodo.com— Add, delete, rate, and move?these are your app options on the iPhone. This interface concept, though, puts full app management within iTunes, and makes us wonder why it wasn't there in the first place.

add 2 "tags" to the app icons: x/y coordinates a boolean for "lock status"and for the "blank space lock", add n amount of "tags" to page:x/y coordinates of "blank space locked" position all that flashy moving and cursor stuff done in itunes is irrelevant to the actual data it would be sending to the iphone/ ipod.
I love the 'dock' app for jailbroken iphones. I won't even try to explain how it works here. It gives you so much quicker access to all your apps. Even if you could sort like in this video, it's still a pain to scroll through 7 pages of apps on the actual phone. At the VERY least apple should make it to where you can scroll directly from your last page to your first & visa versa (as if the pages wrap around).
Do you have an iPhone? Do you have more than 2-3 pages of apps. "3 seconds longer..." is totally off base. I once had to take about a half hour to re-arrange icons on my iPhone and to do the same thing with the functionality in this video would have taken less than a minute.

I do have an iPhone.A half hour? What the hell was so difficult about moving your Facebook app over two pages and above the flashlight app?
