Oh, hurrah, imagine the soaring beauty of Winged Migration at 320 x 240. In your pocket.Like listening to Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue over a telephone.Of course, people would buy it for the same reasons UMDs sell. But when will we have an online video store for the HTPC crowd? Imagine a Netflix with no discs. No queue, no waiting, no throttling... All you can watch for $17.99 a month, downloaded in a couple of hours. I can dream.

I don't know about you, but I watch movies on my computer all the time. Its too much of a pain to go to the living room every time i want to see a movie. and having them in iTunes would be way better than searching for a DVD.You guys talk about watching movies on an iPod. Haven't you ever watched a movie on a PSP? same concept. its not that bad. yer face is real close to the screen so it doesn't make that big of a difference. And you want to watch it in the living room. go ahead. you can burn Cd's for iTunes right? who's to say that we won't be able to burn DVD's? and even if we can't. what else do you use iDVD for?

I'm hoping the Feb 28th announcement focusses more on Intel Mac mini and iBook/MacBook rather than new iPod/iTunes stuff.
