You won't regret it. I couldn't live without mine now. One caveat, the worst part about the iPhone is the PHONE! I have the first generation and the speakers are terrible. I have to use the headset (which I always use anyway for the iPod function) or calls are hard to hear. Volume sucks. No voice dialing. Having said that, I am sure the 3G iPhones are much better and I could not live without visual voicemail as well as the best web surfing on the market not to mention the dozens of apps I use daily. Most of the haters out there are full of hate for Apple and not the product.

It's great. It records when the phone is asleep and will sync right into iTunes. You can "trim" the recording to shorten it and share it via email and I believe it will eventually work with MMS. It also allows you to pause recordings and continue on the same file and it's very easy to use.

I've been using the free iTalk and its been great! SpeakEasy is $2...and neither of these will matter in June when 3.0 comes out with Apples "Voice Memos"

These have been out almost since app store launch why we digging the up now?... they will only be buried again in June... I've using Speakeasy... but want to have itunes integration for simplicity
