isquint.org— The only way to convert your video files for your iPod now supports the new supported iPod resolutions. All the way up to 640 x 480 h.264. I am testing it right now.

Yeah, Videora iPod converter 0.91 (which has been out for a while) will do 640x480 video just fine. All you need to do is define a new profile, manually set video to 640x480, other options to taste, save profile, and voila! You're all set. Personally, I prefer Videora to iSquint for the simple fact that Videora does 2-pass encoding and iSquint doesn't. At least, the iSquint I looked at the day before yesterday didn't, I can't say in regards to v1.5. If I was *only* on OSX, iSquint would probably be the way I'd do things :).
and now it'll also convert your Windows Media Center tv recordings (*.dvr-ms files).Next it would be nice if they would make it AppleScriptable so I can automate my mac reaching over the network via samba to auto-convert my recordings and then place them in my front row tv shows directory. That would be nice.
"Piece of spam"? Uhh, please go back and learn what Spam is. Plus, how is notifying people of a good piece of freeware, and that it has been updated, a BAD thing? Again, Videora is for-pay, and Windows only. Please think before you post.
Its amazing sometimes, how bad Apple Software can be compared to other who program for the Mac.Qicktime is real slow, and iTunes always tell me a -54 error whenI want to convert videoiSquint is realy cool, especially for its speed, and everything else I expect iTunes to have which it doesn't
And youtube has made changes to its flv format that renders isquint, and its open source successor punyvid, useless. (as of Dec 08) Try MacTubes! MacTubes is way better than isquint ever was for converting youtube vids to mp4.Keywords: help convert youtube flv conversion problem.

This is a great prog - of course when Apple releases the new 'widepod' next week (insert sarcasm) this will all be obsolete.
